THE COMPANY BUILD
One company. Two audiences. Built from the beginning.
Genesis Skin Care was a full company build. Our work began with developing the products and extended through the brands, packaging, websites and communications that would introduce them.
The project brought together two distinct sub-brands: genevi, a consumer-oriented skin care line with amniotic fluid as its central ingredient, and amniorenu, a clinician-oriented product for professional settings including medspas, dermatology and eye care.
The two-brand direction grew out of product development. Questions about the amount of amnion needed for efficacy led us to explore a higher-amnion-content formulation. That work opened a more clinical direction for the project and became the foundation for amniorenu.
01 / PRODUCT + POSITIONING
A development question opened a second direction.
During development, we asked how much amnion the formulation needed to contain to support the intended effect. Exploring a higher-amnion-content product brought a different audience into focus: clinicians and professional practices.
Amniorenu grew from that exploration. The product-development work helped shape the brand strategy, giving Genesis a professional direction alongside genevi’s consumer-oriented skin care line.
The two audiences brought different questions. Consumers needed an approachable introduction to the products and their place in a skin care routine. Clinicians needed information organized for a professional conversation, with greater attention to product details and education.
That distinction shaped the positioning, visual identities and communications for each brand.
THE BRAND STRATEGY
Two audiences.
Two distinct identities.
genevi
Consumer-oriented skin care.
amniorenu
Clinician-oriented product and education.
02 / GENEVI
genevi: bring the ingredient story into everyday skin care.
For genevi, we developed a consumer-facing identity around an unusual central ingredient: amniotic fluid.
The work was to give that ingredient story a clear place within a recognizable skin care brand. The logo, packaging and imagery established its visual character; the website, brochures and marketing materials gave the product story room to unfold.
Audience planning explored different reasons someone might be interested in the line, from curiosity about ingredients to an interest in premium skin care. Those perspectives informed messaging and social content without asking every communication to speak to everyone at once.
03 / AMNIORENU
amniorenu: give the professional audience its own conversation.
The higher-amnion-content formulation informed amniorenu’s clinical positioning. Its identity and materials were developed for clinicians and professional practices, including medspa, dermatology and eye care audiences.
We created the logo, branding, packaging, positioning and marketing around that professional focus. Website content, brochures and presentations supported a more detailed explanation of the product and the questions a practitioner would bring to it.
Specialty materials gave those conversations their own context. A presentation for a medspa audience and an eye care resource could share the brand while organizing information around different professional interests.
04 / PACKAGING
Carry the identity into the product people hold.
Packaging was part of the company build from the beginning. We developed the visual presentation across labels, bottles and cartons, connecting the product in someone’s hand with the brand they encountered online or in print.
For a project spanning two brands, those physical details matter. Each line needed a recognizable identity across its own materials, with the audience distinction carried into the presentation of the product itself.
Our scope connected product development and positioning with the practical work of creating logos, packaging artwork and supporting brand materials.
05 / MARKETING + EDUCATION
Keep building beyond the launch materials.
The work extended into websites, marketing, social content, education and client relations.
Consumer messaging and professional education called for different levels of detail and different ways into the story. We developed materials for those settings, from genevi audience messaging and social concepts to amniorenu brochures, presentations and specialty content.
The continuing work supported the conversations around the products as well as their visual presentation.
06 / THE WORK TOGETHER
A company build, across both brands.
Genesis brought product development, brand strategy, design and marketing into one relationship.
Our work covered the products, their identities and the materials used to introduce them. genevi and amniorenu gave the company distinct ways to speak to consumers and clinicians, with a body of work extending from packaging to digital experiences and education.
